Paywiro was founded in 2018 by a team of backend engineers who spent the previous decade building internal payment systems at banks, e-commerce platforms, and early-stage fintechs across Europe.
We kept seeing the same problems. Teams reinventing the same gateway logic. Fragile integrations breaking on provider API updates. Engineers spending weeks on payment plumbing instead of core product. Compliance requirements creating fear instead of clarity.
We built Paywiro to fix that — not as a generic SaaS product, but as a dedicated engineering firm that specializes exclusively in payment API infrastructure. We go deep so our clients don’t have to.
Today we’re a team of 35+ engineers and consultants, headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria, with a second office in Tallinn, Estonia, serving clients across Europe and beyond.
